The Idan Raichel Project in Jerusalem

The Idan Raichel Project is an Israeli music collective formed in 2002 by keyboardist, composer and producer Idan Raichel. It plays pop and world music shaped by Hebrew, Amharic, Arabic and other vocal traditions. The self-titled debut album introduced songs including “Bo'ee” and “Im Telech,” while “Mi'ma'amakim” became another central work in its catalogue. The Idan Raichel Project has toured internationally as a changing ensemble of singers and instrumentalists. Its performances have included Central Park SummerStage in New York and the Sydney Opera House.
