Ignite & Cancer Bats in Stuttgart

Ignite is an American melodic hardcore band formed in Orange County, California, in 1993. Fast punk rhythms and anthemic choruses shaped albums including Call on My Brothers, A Place Called Home and Our Darkest Days, while “Veteran” and “Bleeding” became established parts of the band’s catalogue. Ignite toured repeatedly across Europe and North America and made multiple appearances on the Vans Warped Tour. After those runs, the band kept returning to European clubs and festivals, including Groezrock in Belgium and Resurrection Fest in Spain.

Cancer Bats are a Canadian band formed in Toronto in 2004. They play hardcore punk and heavy metal marked by sludge-heavy guitar riffs, and are known for the albums Hail Destroyer, Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones and Dead Set on Living, as well as songs including “Hail Destroyer” and “Road Sick.” Cancer Bats joined Billy Talent and Alexisonfire for the Canadian arena dates of the Billy Talent III tour. Beyond Canada, the band has played Download Festival more than once and appeared at both Reading and Leeds Festivals. The group performs as a full band and also tours under the Bat Sabbath name, playing sets devoted to Black Sabbath songs fronted by Liam Cormier.
