Imperial Teen is an American indie-rock band formed in San Francisco in 1994 by Roddy Bottum, Will Schwartz, Lynn Perko-Truell and Jone Stebbins. The group introduced its guitar-driven pop on the album Seasick, followed by records including What Is Not to Love and On. “You’re One” and “Yoo Hoo,” which appeared in the film Jawbreaker, are among its best-known songs. Imperial Teen played San Francisco clubs before touring behind Seasick and What Is Not to Love. Its concert history also includes touring with The Breeders.
