Artist
Infectious Grooves are an American funk-metal band formed in Venice, California, in 1989 by Suicidal Tendencies members Mike Muir and Robert Trujillo. Their slap-bass-heavy sound is documented on albums including The Plague That Makes Your Booty Move... It's the Infectious Grooves and Groove Family Cyco, and in songs such as “Punk It Up,” “Therapy” and “Violent & Funky.” In 1991, Infectious Grooves opened for Ozzy Osbourne on tour. More than three decades later, the band returned to Australia for a 2024 run that included Melbourne, performing with Jay Weinberg on drums.
