About Information Society
Information Society is an American synth-pop group formed in Minneapolis in 1982. The band became known through its self-titled 1988 album and the electronic singles “What’s on Your Mind (Pure Energy),” “Walking Away” and “Repetition”; “Think,” from the album Hack, followed.
Information Society performed at Rock in Rio II in 1991, appearing at Maracanã Stadium during the height of its early commercial success. The group later returned for concerts at clubs and theatres in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
