Interpol in Guadalajara

Interpol is an American rock band formed in New York City in 1997. They play taut post-punk and are known for the albums Turn On the Bright Lights and Antics, including the songs “Obstacle 1,” “PDA,” “Evil” and “Slow Hands.” In 2017, Interpol marked the debut album’s fifteenth anniversary by performing it in full on tour. Five years later, the band and Spoon co-headlined the Lights, Camera, Factions tour across North America. Interpol has performed at Coachella and Glastonbury and has returned to Barcelona for multiple editions of Primavera Sound.

The Black Angels are an American psychedelic-rock band formed in Austin in 2004. Their guitar-drone sound is represented by albums including Passover, Directions to See a Ghost and Phosphene Dream, and by songs such as “Young Men Dead,” “Black Grease” and “Bad Vibrations.” The band played Lollapalooza in 2007 and Glastonbury Festival in 2008, after which members helped establish the festival later known as Levitation. Also in 2008, they served as the backing band for Roky Erickson during a series of West Coast concerts.
