Ismael Serrano in Donostia / San Sebastian

Ismael Serrano is a Spanish singer-songwriter, born in Madrid in 1974, whose music belongs to the canción de autor and protest-song tradition. His 1997 debut album, Atrapados en azul, introduced “Papá cuéntame otra vez,” while later records include La memoria de los peces and Los paraísos desiertos. The 2003 live album Principio de incertidumbre documented his concert repertoire at Teatro Lope de Vega. He later marked two decades since his debut through the 20 años. Hoy es siempre anniversary project, including a 2017 concert at WiZink Center.
