About Israel Fernández
Israel Fernández is a Spanish flamenco singer from Corral de Almaguer, Toledo. His work is rooted in traditional cante and shaped by contemporary songwriting, heard on albums including Universo Pastora, Amor and Pura Sangre, as well as the song “La inocencia.”
Israel Fernández has taken the songs of Amor and Pura Sangre to theatres and flamenco festivals in guitar-led concerts. The Amor performances followed his studio partnership with flamenco guitarist Diego del Morao, and selected concerts have reunited the two musicians onstage.
