IST IST in Lisbon

IST IST are an English post-punk band formed in Manchester in 2014. Their stark, synth-driven sound draws on new wave, coldwave and gothic rock, and is captured on albums including Architecture, The Art of Lying, Protagonists and Light A Bigger Fire. Songs such as “You’re Mine,” “Black” and “Emily” became central entries in their catalogue. IST IST toured the UK and continental Europe in support of The Art of Lying and later Protagonists, moving through club and theatre rooms as their audiences grew. Their hometown concerts have included sold-out appearances at Gorilla and the O2 Ritz in Manchester.
