Artist
Jack White is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer, born in Detroit in 1975. He first became known as half of the White Stripes and later formed the Raconteurs and the Dead Weather. His best-known work includes the White Stripes songs “Seven Nation Army” and “Fell in Love with a Girl,” as well as the solo albums Blunderbuss and Lazaretto. The White Stripes headlined the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury in 2005 after years of international touring as a two-person band. Following the duo’s breakup, Jack White mounted the Blunderbuss Tour in 2012 and followed it with the Lazaretto Tour. In 2022 he played arenas, theatres and festivals on the Supply Chain Issues Tour. For his first solo tour, he travelled with two separate backing groups, the Peacocks and the Buzzards, and chose which ensemble would perform each night. He performs his solo concerts on guitar and vocals with a full band, drawing on solo records and songs by the White Stripes, the Raconteurs and the Dead Weather. He headlined Bonnaroo in 2014 and Coachella in 2015.
