Jalen Ngonda is an American soul singer and songwriter who grew up in Maryland and moved to Liverpool to study music. His 2023 debut album, Come Around and Love Me, was released by Daptone Records and includes the title track, “If You Don’t Want My Love” and “Just Like You Used To.” In 2024, Jalen Ngonda performed with his band at Glastonbury Festival. That year he also appeared with a live band for an NPR Tiny Desk Concert, drawing its set from Come Around and Love Me.
Brooke Combe is a Scottish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Midlothian whose music draws on soul, R&B and pop. She first attracted attention through cover versions posted online, then established her own catalogue through songs including “Are You With Me?” and “A-Game,” the mixtape Black Is the New Gold and her debut album Dancing at the Edge of the World. The Change the Show tour took Brooke Combe around the UK as support for Miles Kane in 2022. She followed that run with her own headline club dates and festival performances at TRNSMT and Glastonbury.
