James Blunt in Newcastle upon Tyne

James Blunt is an English singer-songwriter born in Tidworth in 1974. His melodic pop rock became widely known through the album Back to Bedlam and the songs “You’re Beautiful,” “Goodbye My Lover” and “Wisemen.” Later albums include All the Lost Souls, Moon Landing and Once Upon a Mind. The Back to Bedlam Tour established his early concert schedule across clubs, theatres and larger venues. In 2007 he performed at Concert for Diana at Wembley Stadium, then toured All the Lost Souls before mounting the Moon Landing World Tour and the Once Upon a Mind Tour. His concerts are full-band performances built around his lead vocal, guitar and piano, drawing on both the ballads and faster pop-rock songs in his catalogue. He has performed far beyond Britain, headlining concerts in Berlin and Sydney.
