James & Razorlight in Melbourne

James are an English alternative-rock band formed in 1982. They are known for songs including “Sit Down,” “Come Home,” “Laid” and “She’s a Star,” as well as albums such as Gold Mother and Laid. James supported the Smiths on the Meat Is Murder tour in 1985 and gave an outdoor concert at Alton Towers in 1992. A 2001 show at Manchester Arena was billed as their farewell concert; after re-forming, they returned there during the 2007 reunion tour. The Orchestra Tour followed in 2011, presenting their songs with an orchestra and choir. James play most often in Britain and have repeatedly returned to Portugal for concerts in Lisbon and Porto.

Razorlight are a British indie-rock band formed in London in 2002 by singer and guitarist Johnny Borrell. The debut album Up All Night introduced songs including “Golden Touch” and “Somewhere Else,” while the self-titled follow-up produced “In the Morning” and “America.” Razorlight performed at Live 8 in Hyde Park in 2005, then played Alexandra Palace following the release of their second album in 2006. The band moved onto major festival stages and headlined the Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2007.
