Jamiroquai are a British funk and acid-jazz band formed in London in 1992 and led by singer Jay Kay. Their dance-oriented sound also draws on disco, soul and electronic music. They are known for the album Travelling Without Moving and songs including “Virtual Insanity,” “Cosmic Girl,” “Canned Heat” and “Space Cowboy.” Jamiroquai performed at Woodstock ’99 during the band’s late-1990s touring. Their rain-soaked 2002 concert at the Arena di Verona was filmed and released as Live in Verona, and in 2003 they performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival.
