Jan Smit in Roeselare

Jan Smit is a Dutch pop singer and television presenter from Volendam who first became known as a child performer. His repertoire includes the songs “Ik zing dit lied voor jou alleen,” “Als de morgen is gekomen” and “Dan volg je haar benen,” rooted in Dutch-language pop and the Volendam sound known as palingsound. In 2017, Jan Smit joined De Toppers and began appearing in the group’s stadium concerts at the Johan Cruijff ArenA. He also performs his Dutch- and German-language repertoire in theatres across the Netherlands, Germany and Austria.
