Janek Ledecky in Trnava

Janek Ledecky is a Czech pop-rock singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Prague in 1962. He first became known as the lead singer of Žentour, whose songs include “Všechno bude fajn” and “Promilujem celou noc,” before establishing a solo career with “Proklínám,” “Na ptáky jsme krátký” and “Sliby se maj plnit o Vánocích.” He also wrote the musical Hamlet. Janek Ledecky has performed both with Žentour and under his own name, returning to the group for reunion concerts while maintaining his solo concert work. His Christmas tours became a recurring part of his live schedule and have included performances at Prague’s Lucerna Great Hall.
