Jeanette in Garza García

Jeanette is a British-born Spanish pop singer who first recorded as the lead vocalist of the folk-pop group Pic-Nic. Her solo catalogue includes “Soy rebelde,” “Frente a frente” and “Corazón de poeta,” while “Porque te vas” reached audiences beyond Spain after featuring in Carlos Saura’s film Cría cuervos. Jeanette performed at Chile’s Viña del Mar International Song Festival during the decade that established her solo repertoire across the Spanish-speaking world.
