Janove in Bergen

Janove is the solo stage name of Norwegian singer, songwriter and pianist Janove Ottesen, best known as the frontman of Kaizers Orchestra. His solo catalogue began with the English-language album Francis' Lonely Nights, issued under his full name; as Janove, he turned to Norwegian-language rock on Artisten & Marlene, Hengtmann and Det sorte karneval. Kaizers Orchestra’s 2013 farewell run ended with concerts at DNB Arena in Stavanger after more than a decade of touring in Norway and elsewhere in Europe. Janove subsequently took his solo material on the road, performing with a full band and moving between vocals, piano and guitar.
