Jarkko Ahola is a Finnish rock and heavy-metal singer and bassist, born in Toijala in 1977. He is best known as the lead vocalist and bassist of Teräsbetoni, whose song “Missä miehet ratsastaa” represented Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest. His work also includes the vocal group Northern Kings and the solo Christmas albums Ave Maria: Joulun klassikot and Suojelusenkeli: Joulun klassikot 2. Jarkko Ahola fronted Teräsbetoni at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade, performing the band’s entry in the televised final. He has also toured Finland as a recurring vocalist in Raskasta Joulua, a concert production that presents Christmas songs in heavy-rock arrangements in arenas and concert halls. Its rotating vocal casts have included Marco Hietala.
