Jason Michael Carroll in Indianapolis

Jason Michael Carroll is an American country singer-songwriter born in Houston and raised in Youngsville, North Carolina. His 2007 debut album, Waitin’ in the Country, introduced the singles “Alyssa Lies,” “Livin’ Our Love Song” and “I Can Sleep When I’m Dead”; he followed it with Growing Up Is Getting Old and the song “Where I’m From.” In 2004, Jason Michael Carroll won the Raleigh edition of the televised singing competition Gimme the Mike. After signing with Arista Nashville, he brought his early album material to country stages and performed at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
