Jason Ringenberg in Hertford

Jason Ringenberg is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, best known as the frontman of Nashville roots-rock band Jason & the Scorchers. The group’s early records Fervor and Lost & Found set country songwriting against fast rock, while songs such as “White Lies” and “Golden Ball and Chain” became staples of its catalog. Jason Ringenberg has also released solo records and makes children’s music under the name Farmer Jason. In the early 1980s, Jason & the Scorchers played Nashville clubs before touring across the United States and Europe. Jason Ringenberg later built a parallel live repertoire of solo guitar performances and Farmer Jason shows, while periodically returning to the full-band format. His solo concert itineraries have repeatedly included Britain.
