About Jayda G
Jayda G is a Canadian DJ, producer and environmental scientist who makes house music shaped by disco and soul. Her debut album, Significant Changes, incorporated recordings connected to her research on killer whales, while the single “Both of Us” received a Grammy nomination. She later released the autobiographical album Guy, named after her late father.
Jayda G has performed DJ sets at Glastonbury and Coachella, taking the house and disco selections central to her club work onto festival stages. Dekmantel Festival in Amsterdam and Sónar in Barcelona have also hosted her sets.
