Jazz Funk Soul in Charlotte

Jazz Funk Soul is an American contemporary-jazz supergroup formed in 2014 by keyboardist Jeff Lorber, saxophonist Everette Harp and guitarist Chuck Loeb. The group plays instrumental jazz-funk and smooth jazz, and established its recorded identity through the albums Jazz Funk Soul and More Serious Business. The original trio performed its album material in concert until Loeb’s death in 2017. Guitarist Marc Antoine subsequently joined the touring and recording lineup, preserving the group’s three-part format: Lorber on keyboards, Harp on saxophone and Antoine on guitar.
