Jean Carlos Centeno in Chiriquí

Jean Carlos Centeno is a Colombian vallenato singer and songwriter, born in Cabimas, Venezuela. He became known as a lead vocalist of Binomio de Oro de América, recording songs including “Olvídala” and “Me vas a extrañar” before beginning a solo career. Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, he toured as the group’s lead singer and performed its accordion-led repertoire across Latin America. His solo concerts continue to feature his own material and songs recorded during his years with accordionist Israel Romero.
