Jeanette Harris in Richmond

Jeanette Harris is an American saxophonist, flutist, singer and songwriter from Fresno, California. She plays smooth jazz rooted in R&B and gospel, and is known for the albums Saxified and Summer Rain, including the latter’s title track. Harris toured as a saxophonist with Teena Marie before developing her own concert schedule. She performs her solo material on saxophone and vocals with a band, and her U.S. festival appearances have included Berks Jazz Fest in Reading and the Seabreeze Jazz Festival in Panama City Beach.
