Jeanne Mas is a French pop singer, born in Alicante in 1958, known for the synth-pop songs “Toute première fois,” “Johnny, Johnny” and “En rouge et noir.” Her self-titled debut album and Femmes d’aujourd’hui established the dramatic electronic pop style associated with her 1980s work. Her 1985 concerts at the Olympia marked an early milestone in her stage career. She subsequently appeared at the Palais des Sports in 1987 and brought her repertoire to Paris-Bercy in 1989.
