Jen Brister in Folkestone

Jen Brister is a British stand-up comedian and writer whose comedy draws on family life, motherhood, sexuality and politics. Her best-known solo shows include Meaningless, Under Privilege and The Optimist, and she wrote the parenting memoir The Other Mother. Meaningless was filmed at London’s Soho Theatre for its on-demand comedy series. Jen Brister later took Under Privilege to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe before touring it around the UK, followed by another nationwide theatre run for The Optimist.
