Jenni Vartiainen in Tampere

Jenni Vartiainen is a Finnish pop singer, born in Kuopio in 1983. She first became known through the television competition Popstars and the group Gimmel before beginning a solo career. Her catalogue includes the albums Ihmisten edessä, Seili, Terra and Monologi, as well as songs such as “Missä muruseni on,” “Junat ja naiset” and “Duran Duran.” The 2018 Monologi arena tour included a headline concert at Hartwall Arena in Helsinki. Her festival appearances have also included Ruisrock in Turku and Provinssi in Seinäjoki.
