Blind Boy Paxton is an American singer and multi-instrumentalist from Los Angeles who performs blues, ragtime, old-time music and early jazz. He is known for singing and playing guitar, banjo, piano, fiddle and harmonica, and for the album Recorded Music for Your Entertainment. Blind Boy Paxton has performed at Newport Folk Festival and Brooklyn Folk Festival, switching instruments as he moves through early blues and string-band material. He has also presented this repertoire in concert halls, including a Lead Belly tribute at Carnegie Hall.
