Jerry Seinfeld is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer and producer, born in Brooklyn in 1954. He co-created and starred in the sitcom Seinfeld with Larry David, and is known for observational comedy about everyday habits and social conventions. His other screen work includes Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee and the stand-up special 23 Hours to Kill. In the late 1970s, Jerry Seinfeld performed at clubs including Catch a Rising Star and The Comic Strip, then made his first appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson in 1981. In 1998, he took a one-man stand-up show to Broadway’s Broadhurst Theatre, where I’m Telling You for the Last Time was recorded for HBO. The 2016 Jerry Seinfeld: The Homestand residency brought him to the Beacon Theatre for a series of performances. His casino engagements have also included The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
