Jim Gaffigan in Pittsburgh

Jim Gaffigan is an American stand-up comedian, actor and writer born in Elgin, Illinois, in 1966. His observational comedy centers on food, family life and everyday discomforts; the “Hot Pockets” routine and specials including Beyond the Pale, Mr. Universe and Obsessed are among his best-known work. Beyond the Pale was filmed at Chicago’s Vic Theatre, and Mr. Universe was later recorded at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C. Obsessed captured another theatre performance at Boston’s Wilbur Theatre, while his larger-room appearances have included Madison Square Garden in New York.
