Jimmy Kelly in Aschaffenburg

Jimmy Kelly is an Irish-American singer-songwriter and musician who was born in Spain in 1971. He is best known as a member of the Kelly Family, whose folk-pop and rock repertoire includes “An Angel” and “I Can’t Help Myself”; his solo work has also drawn on folk, rock and street music. The Kelly Family’s 1994 concert at the Loreley open-air theatre was an early landmark in his stage career, followed by extensive arena touring during the group’s commercial peak. He later returned to busking and developed that experience into concerts with Jimmy Kelly & The Streetorchestra. In 2017 he participated in the family’s comeback shows at Westfalenhalle in Dortmund and the subsequent We Got Love Tour, then joined the anniversary production 25 Years Over the Hump.
