Jo Dee Messina is an American country singer born in Massachusetts in 1970. Her 1996 debut single, “Heads Carolina, Tails California,” introduced a catalog that also includes “Bye Bye,” “I’m Alright,” “Bring On the Rain” and “My Give a Damn’s Busted.” In 2023, she headlined the Heads Carolina, Tails California Tour, performing in theaters and casino venues across the United States. She has also returned to Nashville for performances on the Grand Ole Opry.
