Joachim Witt in Magdeburg

Joachim Witt is a German singer, songwriter and actor, born in Hamburg in 1949. He first became widely known during the Neue Deutsche Welle era through “Goldener Reiter,” then moved toward darker industrial rock on the Bayreuth album trilogy. “Die Flut,” his duet with Peter Heppner, became another signature recording. Joachim Witt has performed at Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig, where his later material fits the festival’s gothic and industrial programme. He has also presented his band-led concert show at M’era Luna in Hildesheim.
