About Joel Kim Booster
Joel Kim Booster is an American stand-up comedian, actor and screenwriter, born in Seoul and raised in Illinois. He is known for writing and starring in the romantic comedy Fire Island, appearing in the series Loot, and exploring sex, race and gay identity in his stand-up special Psychosexual.
His episode of Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents aired in 2017, followed by the stand-up album Model Minority in 2018. Netflix filmed his 2022 special Psychosexual at Catch One in Los Angeles, arranging the performance in three distinct acts.
