Joesi Prokopetz Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Joesi Prokopetz is an Austrian lyricist, singer and cabaret performer, born in Vienna in 1952. He wrote the lyrics to Wolfgang Ambros songs including “Da Hofa” and “Es lebe der Zentralfriedhof,” and later performed with Deutsch-Österreichisches Feingefühl, whose best-known song is “Codo.”

“Der Watzmann ruft” brought Joesi Prokopetz into music theatre through the Alpine musical he created with Wolfgang Ambros and Manfred Tauchen; the work received repeated stage productions in Austria and Germany. Later solo cabaret programmes including “Gürteltiere brauchen keine Hosenträger” and “Pferde können nicht reiten” centred on texts and songs written and performed by Joesi Prokopetz.
