John Moreland Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

John Moreland is an American singer-songwriter born in 1985 in Longview, Texas, and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He writes Americana and alternative country shaped by folk and rock, and is known for the albums In the Throes, High on Tulsa Heat and Big Bad Luv, as well as songs including “Break My Heart Sweetly” and “You Don’t Care for Me Enough to Cry.”

In 2016, he performed “Break My Heart Sweetly” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The following year, he gave a Tiny Desk Concert at NPR’s Washington, D.C., office, playing “Old Wounds,” “Cherokee” and “Lies I Chose to Believe.”
