About John Németh


John Németh is an American blues and soul singer, songwriter and harmonica player from Boise, Idaho. His recordings pair electric blues with soul vocals, and he is known for albums including Magic Touch, Memphis Grease and Feelin’ Freaky.

In the mid-2000s, John Németh toured as singer and harmonica player with Anson Funderburgh and the Rockets, taking over the role previously held by Sam Myers. He later returned to fronting his own group, including the Blue Dreamers lineup documented on the concert release Live from the Fallout Shelter, recorded in Norwood, Massachusetts.
