John Robins is an English stand-up comedian, writer and podcaster, born in Bristol in 1982. His solo show The Darkness of Robins won the Edinburgh Comedy Award, and he has co-hosted a long-running radio show and podcast with Elis James. He also won series 17 of Taskmaster. At the 2017 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, The Darkness of Robins earned the festival’s main comedy prize. He later took the show on a UK theatre tour, followed by further solo tours for Hot Shame and Howl.
