Johnny Reid is a Canadian country singer-songwriter who was born in Lanark, Scotland, in 1974 and moved to Canada at 13. His country music draws on soul, folk and blues, and his best-known recordings include “Darlin’,” “A Woman Like You” and “Today I’m Gonna Try and Change the World,” alongside the albums Dance with Me and A Place Called Love. Johnny Reid: Live at the Jubilee documented his concert at Edmonton’s Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium. The Fire It Up Tour followed in 2012, taking him into arenas across Canada. He later mounted the What Love Is All About Tour and Revival Live before returning to theatres and arenas for the Love Someone Tour.

Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy are a Canadian married fiddle duo whose music draws on Cape Breton and Celtic traditions. Natalie MacMaster established her solo career through albums including No Boundaries and In My Hands, while Donnell Leahy leads the family group Leahy. Their joint recordings include One, A Celtic Family Christmas and Canvas. The touring production A Celtic Family Christmas has brought the couple and several of their children to theatres across Canada and the United States, combining fiddling, singing and step dancing. They later developed a full-band concert around material from their individual and shared catalogues under the title Visions from Cape Breton and Beyond.
