Jon Henrik Fjällgren in Tanumshede

Jon Henrik Fjällgren is a Colombian-born Swedish Sámi singer and joik performer, born in 1987 and raised in the reindeer-herding community of Mittådalen. He became known through Talang, where “Daniels jojk” introduced his combination of traditional joik, folk and pop to a national television audience. His best-known songs also include “Jag är fri (Manne leam frijje)” and “Norrsken.” In 2014, he won Talang and then appeared in the Melodifestivalen final at Friends Arena the following year. He returned to the competition in 2017 with Aninia for “En värld full av strider,” performed “Norrsken” in the 2019 edition, and reached the final again in 2023 alongside Arc North and Adam Woods with “Where You Are (Sávežan).”
