Jon Stevens is a New Zealand rock singer-songwriter, born in Upper Hutt in 1961. His early solo recordings included “Jezebel” and “Montego Bay,” and he later became the lead singer of Noiseworks, known for songs such as “No Lies,” “Take Me Back” and “Touch.” His career has also included periods fronting INXS and The Dead Daisies. In 1992, Stevens played Judas in the Australian arena production of Jesus Christ Superstar, in a cast that included John Farnham and Kate Ceberano. He toured as INXS’s lead singer between 2000 and 2003, then returned to his solo catalogue and later fronted The Dead Daisies during the band’s first years. His subsequent concerts have included theatre shows devoted to Noiseworks and INXS songs and appearances on the Red Hot Summer Tour.
