Jonatha Brooke in Copenhagen

Jonatha Brooke is an American singer-songwriter born in Illinois in 1964, known for literate folk-pop and rock songs. She first recorded with Jennifer Kimball as The Story, whose albums include Grace in Gravity and The Angel in the House, before beginning a solo career with Plumb and 10 Cent Wings. The Story performed on the American folk circuit, and Brooke continued touring after the duo separated in the 1990s, appearing in clubs and theatres as a solo artist. In 2014 she presented My Mother Has 4 Noses at the Duke on 42nd Street in New York, performing an autobiographical one-woman musical built around original songs.
