Josh Abbott Band in El Paso

Josh Abbott Band is an American Texas-country group formed in Lubbock in 2006 by singer-songwriter Josh Abbott while he was studying at Texas Tech University. The band is known for songs including “Oh, Tonight,” recorded with Kacey Musgraves, “She’s Like Texas,” “Touch” and “Wasn’t That Drunk,” featuring Carly Pearce, as well as the albums She’s Like Texas, Small Town Family Dream and Front Row Seat. JAB Fest became the band’s recurring multi-artist concert in Lubbock, giving the group its own event within the Texas country circuit. The band has also returned to dance halls and honky-tonks around the state, including Gruene Hall and Billy Bob’s Texas.
