Josh Turner in East Pensacola Heights

Josh Turner is an American country singer and songwriter from Hannah, South Carolina, known for his deep bass-baritone voice. “Long Black Train,” the title song of his debut album, established his sound, while “Your Man,” “Would You Go with Me” and “Why Don’t We Just Dance” became further signature songs. In 2001, Turner made his Grand Ole Opry debut by singing “Long Black Train” before its release as a single. He returned frequently, was invited to become a member in 2007 and was formally inducted later that year by Vince Gill.

Payton Smith is an American country singer-songwriter and guitarist from Houma, Louisiana. He became known through the single “Like I Knew You Would” and the self-titled Payton Smith EP, which foregrounded his guitar playing and contemporary country songwriting. In 2020, he made his Grand Ole Opry debut as a vocalist and guitarist. He later played headlining dates on the Up From Here Tour.
