Joshua Henry is a Canadian-American actor and singer, born in Winnipeg in 1984, known for his stage roles in Hamilton, Carousel, The Scottsboro Boys and Violet. His performances in the latter three productions earned Tony Award nominations, and his work as a recording artist includes the album Grow. In 2010, he originated the role of Haywood Patterson in The Scottsboro Boys before the production transferred to Broadway’s Lyceum Theatre. He later played Aaron Burr in the Chicago production of Hamilton and led the musical’s first United States tour, then returned to Broadway as Billy Bigelow in the 2018 revival of Carousel at the Imperial Theatre.
