Josipa Lisac in Vienna

Josipa Lisac is a Croatian singer, born in 1950, whose music draws on rock, pop, jazz and blues. After singing with O'Hara and Zlatni Akordi, she began her solo career and released Dnevnik jedne ljubavi in 1973. The album, created with Karlo Metikoš and Ivica Krajač, includes “O jednoj mladosti”; her best-known repertoire also includes “Magla” and “Gdje Dunav ljubi nebo.” After Karlo Metikoš died in 1991, Josipa Lisac began presenting memorial concerts devoted to his music, establishing a December tradition at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall. In 2023, she marked the 50th anniversary of Dnevnik jedne ljubavi in concert at Arena Zagreb.
