Jota Quest & Filipe Ret in Niterói

Jota Quest is a Brazilian band formed in Belo Horizonte in 1993, playing pop rock with funk and soul rhythms. They are known for songs including “Fácil,” “Dias Melhores,” “Só Hoje” and “Do Seu Lado,” as well as the album De Volta ao Planeta. In 2003, Jota Quest recorded MTV ao Vivo at Praça do Papa, documenting their concert repertoire in an open-air hometown performance. Two decades later, they revisited that catalog on the JOTA25: De Volta ao Novo tour, whose 2023 concert film was recorded at Allianz Parque.

Filipe Ret is a Brazilian rapper from Rio de Janeiro whose career began in the city’s underground hip-hop scene and MC battles in Lapa. He is known for albums including Vivaz, Revel, Audaz and Lume, as well as tracks such as “Invicto,” “Ilusão” and “Amor Livre.” The FRXV anniversary concert marked 15 years of his work and was documented on the live album FRXV (Ao Vivo). He has also taken his catalogue to large festival audiences at Rock in Rio and Lollapalooza Brasil.
