Journey in Nashville

Journey is an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1973 by guitarist Neal Schon, keyboardist Gregg Rolie and other musicians. The band became known for melodic arena rock, particularly the albums Escape and Frontiers and songs including “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Open Arms,” “Any Way You Want It” and “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart).” The Escape Tour brought Journey to The Summit in Houston in 1981, where a concert was filmed and later released. The Frontiers Tour followed in 1983, taking the band through arenas in North America and Japan. Decades later, Journey held a residency at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas in 2015, then co-headlined an arena and stadium tour with Def Leppard in 2018. Journey filmed Live in Manila at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds in 2009 and performed at Lollapalooza in Chicago in 2021.
