Joywave is an American alternative rock and electronic band formed in Rochester, New York, in 2010. The group became widely known through its collaboration with Big Data on “Dangerous,” followed by its own songs “Tongues” and “Somebody New.” Its albums include How Do You Feel Now?, Content, Possession and Cleanse. Joywave joined The Killers for arena dates on the Wonderful Wonderful World Tour in 2018. The band began the Possession Tour in 2020 before the pandemic interrupted the run, then returned to the road for the Cleanse Tour in 2022. The band's festival history includes performances at Coachella in California and Lollapalooza in Chicago.
